Embedding Video in Email Template

Hey! I was attempting to embed a youtube video in our email template "Customer - Event Reminder" . If you check it out, you'll see on the FAQ #10 I embedded the video and it looks appropriate on the email template view. If you send the email however, the video doesn't show embedded in that email.

Note - I added the video link just so that will at least show for now. But if we can get the embedded video to work that would be great! I'd like to start creating more videos and adding them to our automations.

I don't think you can embed actual videos in emails. I think you can use a gif and then link to a video but the actual video must be a file or a link to the video.

Hey Chad! Are you referring specifically to IO emails? Because I embed videos in emails all the time when it's a direct email to someone. Like i can just grab the embed link from youtube and shoot you over an email and it works great.

I'm not sure exactly. I'm confident IO can't do it. But I've never been able to do otherwise.
