waiver editing on Lead

I can't seem to be able to make any lead specific changes to any of the waivers on a lead. I go to document tab of th elead, add the waiver, edit, make changes, save and they all revert back.

I tested this...I had to "edit" first...then add and save. Did you try in that order?

No, I didn't see an option to edit before adding in the lead.

But I see it now. Why is that other edit option available if it's not working once added?

I think "add" really means "save" in this case. So you can save/add without editing...or edit and then save
