Required selection for Optional Field Question

Is it possible to require the customer to Select a option in the optional field questions and not skip past it?

on the optional field settings, select "required"

This is the only required option I have but it still allows me to skip past the questions.The Please Select is treated like a option.

Interesting. Then the other way is to add required to the html.

The optional field has been made required on the checkout page via the template code.

The required field setting found in optional fields will make this a required field on the backend in the leads page.
