Email template: list only a lead's signable documents, not the rental contract

We email customers a copy of their signed Trailer Condition Reports (Signable Documents) using an Automation and a Manual email template. An order can have two or more reports, one per trailer.

The template uses *lead_documents_list*, which lists every document on the lead, so the customer also gets a link to their signed rental contract. We only want the condition reports in this email. *signable_document_url* and *signable_documenturl* link only one document: today, on an order with two signed reports, our text linked only the second one.

  1. Is there a variable that lists only the lead's Signable Documents, or that leaves out the rental contract? If not, can you add one?
  2. Can the template, a filter or an automation limit which documents *lead_documents_list* shows?
  3. Is there another way to send the customer only their signed condition reports automatically, for example when each Signable Document is signed?

Example: order #79086107. Both reports were signed 10/24 at 10:24 and 10:25 am, and the automation sent the copy at 11:02 am.

We have our developers looking into this further and will advise when we have an update.

Thanks!

Developers have fixed this see below on what they advised:

Fixed in hbriers / Throne Ranger’s saved “Customer - Condition Report Copy” email (email_custom,1010677). The manual send and automation 128117 both use this same template. lead_documents_list included the rental contract because it lists every lead document; I replaced only that placeholder with the existing document loop filtered to document_type == signabledocument.

Thanks, Gabrielle. That worked. Our copy email now lists only the Signable Documents, not the rental contract.

Does the documents loop also list Signable Documents that haven’t been signed yet? If so, is there a variable for whether a document is signed?
