I don't require a deposit but a couple of my recent orders have been prompted to pay a deposit. I have checked my payment preferences and it required deposit option is turned off. Why are my customers still prompted to pay a deposit?

Per Developer:

It seems that in these two examples, the customers entered an ‘Other’ payment amount of $50 which then set the deposit amount on the lead. If they want to edit their contract template, the ‘Other’ payment option may be able to be removed, and also the green box that shows that the deposit was already paid/isn’t required.

I have a developer taking a look at this.

I've found it's not that they are being prompted to pay a deposit. they just think they are because the contract page under payment has a deposit in a red box and a balance in a red box. They see that and think they have to make a payment. or some other form of this is being displayed.

Okay thank you. Is it possible to remove that all together?
