Workers - Requests Off Date Limitations

Wondering if there is a way to block off certain dates from being Requested off by workers?

This may to a Holiday, Internal Training Date, or High volume of events. So the dates could match Black- Out Dates.

Also, is there a way to know when a request off date was submitted or limit to be within a set window of time? We ask employees for 2wks notice, but I have not been able to track these in a timely manner

Currently this is not a feature in the software to block off dates for requesting time off. I have put in a feature request to our developers.

An email notification should be sent to the company email when a worker requests time off. If additional emails need to be notified, this can be updated under Settings-->Alerts Center-->Worker: Request Off.

You can also review the time off requests in Settings-->Shifts. Click the search bar and select Worker Request Time Off

We are not planning to pursue this feature at this time.

Bummer. Other scheduling softwares help prevent all staff from just taking the time off.

At this point, I have been pushed to approve all the summited dates, I recently found the above shown to see the list. I was only seeing it by email alert. learning it .

A date of summission would be helpful to show on the request off, I go by the email alert now

Just to verify, you are wanting to see the submission date when viewing Worker Request Time off in Settings-->Shifts?

Yes, when I go to shifts, Requested Time Off - open a workers new request off submission. At the top is the Worker name - Date and time requesting off, Status: Requested, Start: "Date" "Time", End: "Date" "Time",then Botton for Approve or Decline.

I have no way to track if the employee submitted it within the 2 wk advance notice.

Thank you for clarifying. I am sending this request to the developers.

Our developers advised this is currently not a feature, but the request submitted date can be tracked with the alert email that is sent.
