Linked Accessory Names Inserting Parent Name
Answered
Hello,
I am trying to find a way to stop my linked accessories from showing the parent name. I’m setting up a Catalog page for our decor business that shows categories (Collections), then leads can view the Collections - most of these are accessories linked to the hidden parent inventory item. What’s bothering me is that these accessories all have the parent item’s name inserted at the end.
For example:
/rentals/ -> /rentals/florals/ -> /rentals/florals/luxury-floral-centerpiece-florals/
I have attempted to hide these via a WPCode CSS Snippet, but that is not working.
Is there a native way to do this or could a dev provide a workaround?
Thank you.

Our developer has advised this stems from a little quirk in our sync code when it comes to show as separate unit items/accessories. Our sync code appends the name of the parent onto the name of the combined items so long as the name of the parent isn’t already in the name of the accessory. So for instance if you have “Themed Bounce House” with the accessory “Bluey” Then the end result is you get “Bluey Themed Bounce House”. In this case though “Florals” does not match literally on “Floral”.
If you want to not wait for developer to make changes to this you can adjust your item names for the time being.
