Lead status issue

Hello!

I have been having a few issues lately with leads. For example, yesterday I sent a quote to a customer. They accessed the quote but did not finalize the sale by paying the deposit and signing the contract. This morning, they went back into the lead and moved the status to contract without paying the deposit and signing the agreement.

What settings do I need to change to avoid this? I can't seem to find help in any of the chats.

Hi Nick,

The contracted status means that the customer has generated the contract but has not signed or paid the deposit yet. Once the lead is in the confirmed status then the event will be considered a confirmed event.

Okay. So this is normal? I guess I have always had customers sign and pay the deposit right away. I was surprised that it showed up on the delivery planner.

I can update the contract status settings to not show contracted events on the planner, would you like me to do that for you?

That would be great! Remind me, does the software send a reminder to customer to sign the contract and make a payment? I was going to contact them directly, but I don’t want to duplicate it.

I have updated these settings for you!

If you go to Settings-->Email Center you can look through all of the different auto emails that send out on different terms. There are a few that remind customers to sign or ay their deposit to fully book their event like the deposit due reminder and the send contract reminder!
