Worker permissions for signing up for open shifts

How do I turn off the feature that allows workers to sign up for an unassigned shift? And if a worker accidentally signs up for a shift, how do I undo that action so that the shift is open again?

You can edit the shift the way you normally do (or the way you created it) and remove the person who signed up and then save again.
