Leads are jumping to Contracted status

I haven't changed any settings. My leads used to move to Hold status after the deposit was paid, Hold 2 after the contract was signed, and Contracted only after both of those were done. They are now moving to Contracted after only the contract is signed. Did IO change something with how this works?
