change NEW domain name away from Wix

Hi, I purchased a new domain name through Wix and I want to transfer the domain to become my new domain name. It already has gone through Wix "temporary hosting time" or whatever they call it, and now I am allowed to transfer it away. What are the steps I need to take to transfer my new domain to IO???
