Weekly alert for unprinted events

Under Consideration

Alerts every Sunday morning set to your email for any Contracted or Confirmed events within 7 days that haven’t had load lists printed. This would solve the issue of orders not getting printed due to last minute or system glitches commonly experienced.

It would solve a lot of issues if you could. For about a year my team has been experiencing a glitch where every so often, orders are not being printed when selected and it causes us to have to triple check every time we are printing load lists.

As far as a glitch, it might help to determine if the glitch happens in IO or your computer's print spooler. When you find a lead that didn't print due to a glitch, open the lead and go to the log. See if a line says 'packing list printed'. If there is one, then the problem may be on the print spooler's end, and I don't know that IO can do anything about that.


Just a thought. I had a printer that, when I printed a bunch of documents at one time, 1 or more would get missed. I found through logs that the doc was sent, and the printer just messed it up.

The last time this happened I thought the same and figured it may be a printer issue as I was just hoping to find a solution. It unfortunately seems to be an IO issue as the orders never showed printed! It could be a combo of both as I only thought to check this last time it occurred but definitely something good to keep in mind and check for next time to see.
