Name Overwriting On ALL Leads

When you change a name on an order, lets use a lead SAVE COPY then make the changes to the contact person. It is overwriting the person on all leads that are the same person

This is a huge issue for a client that has many contacts within the same company

Lets say company A you talk will BILL SUSIE AND JOHN then STEVE calls in to book and event same as july last year that JOHN booked last year.

Go to the lead from July last year save copy and chang the name to STEVE from JOHN.. now all the other leads that was STEVE is now JOHN

The other part of that is, it creates a new customer in the customer section but overwrites the other person name you used for the lead copy

my example in the video is GREG to JIM

The issue here is that the lead is being Autosaved before you check the “Create a new Profile” option at the top, resulting in, first, the name change being made to the existing contact (which affects all leads), then, a new copy of that contact is created for the copied lead. However, in your example, both contacts will have the same name at this point, which you were not expecting.

We’re working on coming up with a simple solution, but right now you just need to ensure you select the “Create a new Profile” checkbox within five seconds or the lead will Autosave with that change, affecting any other leads that have that contact on them. This has nothing to do with the lead being saved as a copy

Maybe we should extend the 5 second time limit to 10 seconds cuz it's pretty hard to do all that within 5 Seconds
