Quote email to customer

When a customer generates a quote, they get an email 12 minutes later with their quote. The 12 minutes is because of how often the system checks to see if there are new emails to send out. Is there a way for the quote to be emailed immediately? Not sure if I created the automatic email with incorrect settings, in "email center" and that's why they don't get it immediately? I have an automatic customer quote set up in "email center" and I have it set to send an email "0" days after receiving the quote request.

Actually, I just retested, the quote emails in my case are not sent every 12 minutes, it's a longer interval. Thank you

Is this working as expected now?

No, when the customer clicks “get a quote”’ from my homepage, then they generate a quote on the io_quote page, the quote is displayed on their screen, but not automatically and immediately emailed to them.

The emailed quote comes at a later time, when the system checks to see if there are any emails that need to be sent out.

I do see options on the completed quote page for the customer to edit, print, PDF, save(which means email) the quote. But I’m wondering if an email with the customers quote can occur automatically?

I adjusted the quote email to .01 to have it go out almost immediately see if this works as you are wanting. Let me know.

It still goes out at a later time. Since it’s random times but within a specific window, it must still be going out when the system checks (every X amount of minutes) to see if there are any emails to be sent out. Not sure if there’s any way around that.

This pic shows the time that I put the quote through, then the time that the quote came to me in an email.

That is the fastest that it goes out, unfortunately there is no other way around this.
