Payroll Date Range Markings

Completed

When running payroll, it would be REALLY nice if I could mark off the date ranges that have already been processed. This would eliminate the need for external calendars, and mitigate the potential for double-processing payroll dates (especially in the off-season when sometimes a two week period has no work)

Can you elaborate? The payroll report has a checkbox for shifts paid. Where do you want to see it?

I know about the checkboxes.... but when there are no shifts, the software doesn't let me indicate which weeks (pay periods) have been processed. I'd love to click the calendar icon and see something like this:

49857d252c0f3e55680130e9ab6f9843

here, the green dates have been marked as "completed" and the pink are "unprocessed". This is not a "shift-by-shift" checkmark... it's a "date-by-date" completion (regardless of shifts).....

it doesn't HAVE to be in the actual date picker... just some way of identifying that the pay period has already been processed and completed

BONUS POINTS: If the time sheets in the "processed" pay periods could 'locked' to prevent accidental changes on pay periods that have already been closed or locked

That's much clearer! I like this idea.
