Blackout or Maintenance

Hello!

I have several items published on my site that I will not receive until mid-March. I had everything entered in maintenance mode to allow customers to book future dates. However, I just realized that if a customer is on my site and goes directly to the check availability button, it immediately tells them the unit is unavailable. I have noticed from my Microsoft Clarity account that they are leaving the site after this.

Is there a better option for my situation? Ideally, if they go into the categories first and select their date range, it will still allow the customer to enter a date and request a quote. I just don't want "unavailable" to be the first thing they see. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I don't have a solution for you however, will you share more about Microsoft clarity?? I'm wanting to see activity on my account and don't know where to look for such info like you shared about client leaving.

Yes. I am not super savvy with Code and WordPress, but ultimately, I created a Microsoft clarity account for my business. It is free. Once you have the account generated, you will copy the code snippet from Microsoft clarity and then go to WordPress and add a plug-in and enter the code. I used ChatGPT for the entire operation. It worked perfectly. Otherwise, someone from IO could likely assist.

Once everything is set up, you can check your Microsoft Clarity account, and it will give you all the data you need about how your website is functioning. It will tell you how long people are on your site, where they go, etc.
