I have noticed in helping someone with ADW exemptions.. Accessories will not exempt properly

I am using this filter to exempt full categories fine

0e83af02946454bc49213847ee44752a

when i try to exempt an accessory it does 2 things

1 it doesnt exempt the item from ADW

New filter used and results using lead rentals name

c6755dc502ecb74b630b95b234f0104e

it doesnt exempt

76423d33da2e57982fe1dea8fc076046

Next filter with Rentals Name

475f741924b66f21b409a1b5b8d5becb

87056e13d8391a3facf2c234cafeeef7

it takes the 1.00 off the table but still charges .46 on the table cover which is what i want exempt

where am i going wrong?

First, your filter is set up wrong. I think. I think you'd be better off using add group to add "rentals Name" instead of inline with the others. I'm also not fully seeing what's being done in the filter. I are you saying you want to charge DW to items in the balloon category? If you want it to be exempt I'd think you'd want to say rentals category contains balloons. Not does not contain.

This is because the the filter is to find items to exclude which means you want them to be included in the filter. so they are excluded. Does that make sense? Which would be why they DW is charged on the cover and not the table.

Side Note. I could be wrong on the add group. HOWEVER, i don't think it will hurt to do it either.

Ok my current filter works to exclude those categories

Tim and I set this up when the ADW was updated.. you and i talked about this one)

in this example it excludes the categories as i have in my current filter but is charging DW on my set up and take down adn my table cover..

i would like to get it to not on the set up and table covers

now try the add group thing with the correct logic and lets see if the add group is an issue.

Hi Greg, this is what it's doing for me? It's only charging the ADW for the table.

Chad the group worked also, but honestly, whats the difference between adding them line itemed on using group?

I'm not sure. BUT iIve found that any time there are multiple of one field name and at least one of another, the filters are more likely to work if I break them in to groups. I don't think this is the case for all field names but i know it definitely doesn't hurt and does help on others. Since I can't determine which matter and which don't, It's just my standard practice. I'm not sure of a great way to explain it otherwise I'd make a video.
