Default Contract not working

Good afternoon, I was looking at my contract on a test lead that i created. when i click on my lead and go to the bottom of the page and click on contract and it loads the contract it is not loading the contract that i have set as the default template. how do i fix this from happening? is it because i have too many templates the system is getting confused? or does it have to do with me having too large of HTML code?

i have it set up with dynamic clauses. where depending on the unit being rented will depend on the clause that gets shown. i did this over a week ago and it has been working. but now its showing my old contract.

i just want to add so you can tell the developers. i do not think its my code because i tried to switch the contract template from my custom template to a standard contract with no dynamic HTML and it wouldn't load that one either.
