Copying leads with optional fields

Copying leads is a great feature, but for those of us with a lot of custom optional fields, it creates a problem. Those optional fields, whether they are notes or checkboxes, carry over to the new lead. Because of this, my sales staff is getting away from copying leads.
My feature request is to add an option to let IO know whether the information in that field should transfer to copied leads.
