Item prices during certain calendar dates

Is there a way to set a rental item's price to be a certain amount depending on the date that the item is being rented? I know we can add a "fee" based on certain rental dates, but on the client quote and contract, we want the price to show within the item, not as a fee. For context, we want to charge double for our rental products on rental leads scheduled between Dec 23 and Jan 3rd.

Still the only way to do this would be to add it under promotions and fees if it's going to be a temporary increase
