The documentation states emails are checked every 1 hour. Is there a way to reduce this timeframe?

So the way this works - are we still replying to clients through our external email provider (gmail/thunderbird/outlook etc) and IO just places a copy into the lead (every hour).

Maybe I got confused thinking the IO CRM was a separate inbox?

My point - we could go back and forth with a client 10 times in the 1 hour period. We're not going to wait 1 hour to get the first reply because a conversation would take all day. But if it's only the "posting" of the communication into the CRM section that is checked hourly, that's fine.

Yes, the CRM IMAP is meant to bring in emails in your email inbox and other folders for later reference. You don’t have to wait to go back and forth with customers.
