Sales tax not working when I select 2 items from inventory

So I have 1 bounce house and 1 tent in current inventory.

1. When I select ONLY the bounce house, the tax gets calculated correctly.

2. When I select BOTH the bounce house AND the tent, for some reason tax gets excluded from subtotal quote?

This looks to have more to do with the address being incorrect than the rental items. We use the USPS database to look up addresses when you create leads on the back end so we can minimize tax rate lookup issues. When it errors, it uses a default rate (yours is currently either not set or set to 0).

Does this issue happen when you use a non-fake address?

Also, it looks like your account was registered in 2019, but you've just began using it. We have an updated version of the software that I would recommend staring with early since we'll eventually be migrating all users to that. Can we toggle your account to use that upgraded version by default?

Sure, use the upgraded version by default. Per the tax rate lookup, I'm using a real address (i.e. non-fake address).

By the way, in case I don't find it, where do I check the "not set" or "0" default rate?

It looks like your most recent test charged tax: https://rental.software/account/#/leads/7699801

The default rate is here: https://rental.software/account/#/settings/preferences/taxsettings/taxsettings

Did you just add that Texas rate? Recalculating the lead that had 0% in there put in the 8.25% rate. If this is still ongoing, I'll need to know more about where you create the lead from and steps to reproduce it.

Yes, thank you. I found that section earlier and updated it. Seems to be working good now, no matter if I select 1 or both items

Thanks for your help.
