Request to Remove Save Card Checkbox

We’re using Square for payment processing and would like to automatically save customer cards on file without displaying the “Save Card” checkbox. Please advise how to disable or hide the checkbox while still storing the card securely

Have you figured anything out on this topic to remove the save card box? I'm having the same issue and its making payments after events pretty hectic

The "Save Card" checkbox on the payment section on the contract cannot be removed. This is now a requirement from Square to be able to recharge a customers card in the future. The customer has to have the right to NOT save the card info, this has been a change with Square and we are unable to remove to stay in compliance.

In the future, we may implement a feature for Square settings that would require a customer to allow saving their card in order to process card transactions. There is not a definite timetable on this development at this time.

It's probably a compliance thing they have to put in. As in, everyone has to be PCI compliant. Square does it for you so they require things to comply while other processors just have you done and every 6 months.
