I want to set up two separate Promo codes: LS10 and LS5. LS10 will be for 10% of Weekday Rentals (Mon-Thu) and LS5 will be for 5% off Weekend Rentals (Fri-Sun). I don't know where to start.

Create 2 filter. 1 should have the the field name as "Lead Start Day is Weekday (mon-thur). Name it what makes sense to you. 2nd filter should be say field name as "Lead Start Day is Weekend" Name it what makes sense to you.
Now open settings>promos/fees>add promo. Name it LS10. Select the type as coupon. Add the filter you just created and then the reward should be 10%. Save and Close.
Create a second promo called LS5. Set the type as coupon and use the second filter. Set the reward as 5%. Save and close
