When you cancel someone off a shift will it remove it from their google calendar?

I read where cancelling the event will not but what about straight out removing them? Will it?

I just tested this and it seemed to work.... for some reason when i tested it before it didnt remove my shift on my test.

It's not always immediate. And there's further lag if you are viewing the calendar from your phone instead of going directly to the data source in google's website.
