Mandatory fields in Leads

Hello,
I would like the field ''type of surface'' to be mandatary for saving a lead.
Where do i do that ?

This is not an option on the admin side, this only works on the customer side.

i noticed that if i do not put the surface type, then the packing list is empty. Is there a way to print the items on the packing list even if there is no surface chosen ?

I have a ticket in for this...we had a way of creating a "default" packing list that would work in the scenario but doesn't seem to be working right now. I will let you know when we have a fix for it.

Checking to see if there has been any updates on this as we would also like to make this a mandatory item that our people have to fill in.

yes this works,, put the items in the packing list as default instead of attaching them to a surface type and it will print out on the packing list
