Using Own Email Server

I am using my own email server or trying to. I have don't allow port 25 but instead use SSL port 993. When trying to send an email today through IO I think IO was waiting to accept the SSL Cert. Is this something you guys can fix. I know when I setup new email on a computer I have to accept the cert first.

Thanks

Who is your mail provider? FYI, we recently made some changes that dramatically improve our email delivery for manually sent emails.

I run my own mail server here at my house as I am linux admin and I run webserver and mail server. I use Time Warner as my Internet provider.

Is your firewall on your router or server blocking incoming traffic on that port?

No port 25 is listening but doesn't accept mail on port 25 for smtp outgoing mail. I use 993 with ssl and imapp 143 and 465 for incoming

It looks like it is related to your certificate being self-signed. A self-signed certificate works for encryption, but there is no way to check with an authority that it is not being spoofed, so it fails. We don't have a way around this at this time.
