IO Integration Migration monsterball.com.au to monsterballperth.com.au
Answered
Hi IO Support Team,
We are migrating our website from https://monsterball.com.au/ to https://monsterballperth.com.au/.
I will handle the complete website backup and migration, including all WordPress-side changes.
Could you please provide the step-by-step instructions for the IO-side changes required to ensure everything works correctly on the new domain, including product synchronisation, quote forms, pricing, availability, bookings, cart, and checkout?
Please let me know what needs to be updated in IO before and after the migration.
Thank you.

Here is our article that goes over this process! You can just let us know once you are ready to update the domain and we can submit a ticket to our web team.

Hi IO Support Team,
Currently, the Monsterball Perth location is linked to https://monsterball.com.au/. We also need to update it to https://monsterballperth.com.au/ as part of the migration.
Please arrange the IO-side domain update and let me know when you can complete it, as I need to make the new website live.
Also, please ensure the existing Perth enquiries and historical data remain unaffected by this change and continue to be available in the IO backend.
One more thing: while your team updates the domain in IO, will the existing website (https://monsterball.com.au/) continue to work correctly on Thursday and Friday without any interruption to the current enquiry and booking process?
I will handle the WordPress-side migration and testing. Please let me know when the IO domain update is completed so we can coordinate the live launch accordingly.
Thank you.

It is best to start his process once you are ready to update the domain, and you also need to make sure you own the new domain before we make his changes. If you'd like, it may be best to let me know once you are ready to make the switch and we can go from there!

Hi,
I have completed the new WordPress website setup on https://monsterballperth.com.au/ and have enabled maintenance mode while preparing for the migration.
I am planning to complete the migration tomorrow. I will handle the full WordPress backup and migration, including moving the website to the new domain.
Could you please arrange the IO-side domain update tomorrow and let me know when your team can make the change?

While your team updates the domain in IO, will the existing website (https://monsterball.com.au/) continue to work correctly until the migration is complete, without any interruption to the current enquiry and booking process?
I would appreciate your help coordinating the IO update so we can complete the migration and launch the new website smoothly.
Thank you.

I have submitted a ticket to or web team and let them know that you would like for your domain to be switched on 10/21/2026. Please make sure the new domain is purchased by tomorrow if it is not already!
This will not affect any of your customer/lead records so you won't have to worry about that.

If you are available to provide support during Friday & Saturday, so in that case could we reschedule the IO domain update from 22 October to 23 October 2026 at 4:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST)?
Please also confirm how long your team will be available to support us during the migration on 23 October and, if required, on Saturday, 24 October (IST). Kindly share your available support hours in Indian Standard Time so I can plan the migration accordingly.
I would also appreciate some clarification on how the domain change will affect the existing website and the new website:
1. Existing enquiries and bookings: If a customer submits a quote or enquiry form through the existing Perth domain (https://monsterball.com.au/) after the IO domain has been updated, will the form continue to work correctly and will the enquiry be recorded in the IO backend?
2. Old and new website availability: Once the domain is changed in IO, will the new website (https://monsterballperth.com.au/) start working with IO immediately? At the same time, will the existing website continue to work, or will its IO integration stop as soon as the domain is switched?
3. Running both websites temporarily: Is it possible to keep both the old and new websites connected to IO and functioning simultaneously for a short period? If this is supported, it would be the best option for us, as it would allow me to test the new website and ensure everything is working correctly before fully switching over.
4. Recommended migration process: Could you please explain the expected sequence of events during the domain change, including when the new website will start processing enquiries and bookings, when the old website may stop working with IO, and whether there could be any downtime or interruption?
My priority is to ensure that all existing Perth enquiries, bookings, customer records, and historical data remain accessible, while avoiding any interruption to the current enquiry and booking process.
Your guidance on the best approach and confirmation of the support schedule will help me coordinate the migration smoothly.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Team, just following up to see if there are any updates from your web team. As we need to proceed with the IO domain migration, could you please confirm the domain update process and your support availability for today and tomorrow?
Also, please clarify whether either the existing website (monsterball.com.au) or the new website (monsterballperth.com.au) will experience any downtime or stop working with IO during the domain change.
Your confirmation is important so we can plan the migration smoothly without disrupting existing enquiries, bookings, or website functionality.
Thank you!

Ok the web team has reached out to me this morning and let me know that we don’t host your website, so we’re unable to make changes or perform site-related operations. They recommend reaching out to your website hosting provider for assistance.

Hi Team,
I understand that you don't host our WordPress website. However, my query is specifically about the IO domain configuration and integration, not WordPress hosting.
We have already set up the new Perth WordPress website: https://monsterballperth.com.au/
If I add the new website to IO, keep both websites connected for a short period, and then remove the old website (https://monsterball.com.au/), will all existing enquiries, bookings, customer records, and historical data remain intact in IO?
Also, could you please confirm your support availability in Indian Standard Time (IST) in case we need assistance during the migration?
Thank you!
