Banners & Relationships

How are you handling interchangeable banners in InflatableOffice when the same banner can be used on multiple units?

We currently have customers choose a banner as an option, but we’d like to start listing some popular unit + banner combinations as their own rental items so customers can actually see the themed unit while browsing.

The problem I’m running into is inventory/relationships. Some of our combos already have a wet and dry version related to each other so they share the same physical unit. Because they’re already related, IO won’t let me also relate them to another listing of that same combo with a banner.

On top of that, we may only have ONE physical Monster Jam banner, but that banner can fit several different inflatables. So if the Monster Jam banner gets booked with one unit, I need it unavailable with every other compatible unit for that date.

Has anyone found a good setup for this?

Basically I’m trying to accomplish:

• Separate listings for popular unit + banner combinations

• Wet/dry versions still sharing the inflatable’s inventory

• One banner being able to work with multiple different units

• Once that banner is booked, it’s unavailable everywhere else

Would love to see how other IO users have this organized!
