Minimum Order based on day of the week

I want to set a regular minimum that changes by the day. How can I do that? My sold out Saturday's need a different minimum from a Monday-Thursday with extremely limited orders.

There isn’t currently a way to set a minimum order amount based on the day of the week under Settings → Distance Charges. However, you can restrict customers from auto-booking based on their rental total and the day of the week their event falls on by using filters and setting them up in the Auto Booking Filter section.

The only downside is that customers won’t be specifically notified that they can’t book because they didn’t meet the minimum order requirement, like they would if they didn’t meet the minimum set under Distance Charges. Instead, the system will simply prevent them from auto-booking and let them know that someone will reach out to them shortly.

That said, this would be the only way to set up a day-specific minimum. If this is something you’d like to set up, let me know and I can walk you through creating the filter and adding it to your Auto Booking settings!

Would the Auto Book Filter take into account distance the same way the minimum order would?

Can you please add the day-based order minimum to the options? It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to add that as a drop-down.

You could also add a distance field to the filter you’re creating, so this would be possible with the current setup.

As for adding a day-of-the-week option directly to the minimum order section, I would need to submit a feature request to our developers for review. They would then determine whether or not to approve the request, and if approved, it would need to be implemented in a future update. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t be a quick solution.
