New IO Plugin seems to have broken checkout/cart

Solved

Hello, I updated to the new IO Plugin yesterday. There seems to be an issue with the checkout/cart system now. I can't add anything to the cart, the date picker doesn't appear to be working and there are spinning loading circles on the items on the category pages. Pretty sure no one can get a quote on the website at the moment. I have attached a video to hopefully help pin it down

The newest plugin update now requires customers to first select a delivery or service date using the “Set Date” option before customers are able to add items to the cart or request a quote. Once a date has been selected, customers can then proceed with the “Check Delivery” process to confirm availability and continue with checkout or quote requests.

This requirement has been added to ensure accurate scheduling, improve delivery coordination, and prevent availability conflicts before an order is submitted. By making date selection mandatory at the beginning of the process, the system is able to provide a smoother, more reliable, and better-organized customer experience while reducing delays and incomplete quote requests.

Yes, I am aware of that. The issue is that once you pick a date it grays out all of the add to cart buttons and you can no longer add anything to the cart. You can't add it from the category pages or the item page. I have included another screen recording.

Also, Up selling at the bottom of the rental item page appears to be broken as well

We have our developers looking into this further and will advise when we have an update.

Thanks!

Thanks! I don't know if this helps narrow it down but I also can't seem to update the plugin. I am on version 1.1.2 , it says I can update to 1.2.3 but once I update it and refresh the page I am still on 1.1.2 and the option to update to 1.1.3 has reappeared. Screen recording attached.

Thanks I've added this to the open ticket for developers further review.

Just wanted to touch base and see if there is any progress on this as we have had an unusable cart/availability system for almost 2 days.

I have added your inquiry to the open ticket with developers and apologize for the delay.

Developer has advised the site just needed a Sync. The sync is still running but you can now open the cart and checkout.

It's still not working on my end. I have purged the cache on my browser and on WordPress. Screen recording of persisting issue attached.

I have also asked others to try the website to see if they can add to cart and they report the same issue

Hi Gabrielle, checking in on this again as we are now on day 5 without a functioning checkout or cart system. Since we are right in the middle of our peak summer season for inflatable rentals, every day this is down is directly costing us quotes and bookings. Can this ticket please be escalated to a critical priority? Alternatively, is it possible for your team to manually roll our plugin back to the previous working version on your end while the developers figure out the bug?

Apologize for the delay I've asked developers to roll you back to the old plugin until the current issue is fixed.

Thanks, Gabrielle. Given the delays we've experienced over the last almost 6 days now, do you have a firm ETA on when the developers will actually complete this rollback? I need to test the system as soon as it’s done so we can get back to taking reservations.

Also, I want to make sure this ticket remains open and active. While the rollback is a necessary temporary fix, my concern is that the urgency to resolve the bug in the new plugin will disappear once we're rolled back. Please ensure that permanently fixing the new version remains a priority, and keep me updated on its progress.

Our developer has advised they should have a permanent fix in about an hour or so from now. So this should be resolved by late morning early afternoon eastern time.

Developers advised this was caused by a disconnect when you changed from single to multilocation concerning the set page group in the plugin. They've fixed this but you will need to clear local cookies and cache to see the change.

Hi Gabrielle, that did the trick! I cleared the cache/cookies and the cart is back to working perfectly. I really appreciate you escalating this and getting the permanent fix pushed through. Thanks for your help

You're very welcome happy to hear it's now working as expected.
