Check Numbers on Contracts

Hello!
Is there a way to show check numbers on a contract? It shows them on the receipt, but I would like them on the contract as well. I can't figure out how to edit the contract to show them.
Or, alternatively, is there a way to print the receipt?

You can't. Once there's a signature, most fields can't be changed. This is to protect you and the customer from legal issues that could arise from changing a contract after the fact.
You could make the invoice show it and then use that instead.
