Faster Solution to Building Shifts - High volume of Shifts

Is there anyway to duplicate a Shift created within the lead ? Or Possibly create it in lead & the go to Shifts and copy there?
Also, can I hold the shifts from being sent out right at creation to workers ? Even a checkbox to allow it to be sent out when ready, once assigned or open to be picked up
The amount of time I am spending addjusting the date/ time, location, position, person for 9+ staff members for one event is taking WAY too long. One three day event was 27ppl for us and I still had to then go do Drivers in logistics also.
Please help with some solutions.
