Notification or Email for Available Shift

When I create an unassigned shift, does anyone get notified that it is available? Am I dependent on the workers logging into the site and looking for blue dots?

I'd like to be able to set up an automatic email that lets them know as soon as I post it. It'd be great to have another one go out after a few days if it's still available.

I'd also like to have an email set up to notify me when a shift that's coming up soon has not been signed up for.

Edit: I didn't see the option to create a "shift" filter, so I assumed none of these were possible for me to make with a filter+automation+email setup. But now I see I might be able to do it with a Lead filter using the Shift Dates AND Shift Worker First Name. Please confirm if this is the right way to do it, or if workers are already getting notified some other way.

Currently the only way for workers to see an open shift is via the calendar on the worker site. We have submitted a feature request to our developers to see an alert can be made.

I'm realizing that the lead filter might work for alerting me that there's an unassigned shift coming up, but it's not going to work to alert workers with the appropriate position about a shift for that position becoming available. Unless perhaps I set up multiple filters and hope it all works out? What's the best practice here?
