Need Answer

I have a customer that I called and he wanted to book. I manually entered all of his information into the software. I clicked button next to his email address to email the quote to him. I also clicked the attach button and clicked on the quote option to attach quote to email. When he got email it was in his spam folder. He tried opening the quote that was attached to the email it showed the quote but it wouldn't let him pay or anything. He was able to book the event but the deposit wasn't paid. I tried to then email his contract the same way I emailed the quote so he could pay the deposit. It did not give him the option to pay the deposit. Just to hold the spot so I don't get double booked and I could talk with support I manually clicked button that deposit was paid and moved status to confirmed. What did I do wrong here. Only thing I can think of is maybe the emails were all going to his spam folder and unless he moves email out of the spam folder then his email wont let him pay for the booking. What can I or what do I need to do to resolve this issue.

The hold status does not allow a customer to automatically move out of it. You should've put the lead in contracted status and then sent a contract and it would've allowed the customer to sign and pay.

It was in contracted status. I manually put it in a hold status and clicked the box saying deposit was paid even though it wasn’t so I could message support to prevent another booking coming in while I had this issue going on.
