Does IO differentiate police jurisdiction tax rates when calculating sales tax?

I am in the process of switching to IO from ERS, and noticed that some of our tax rates were incorrect on ERS. I was updating them here according to the IO calculations, but then I came across a tricky one.

It's an address outside of city limits, but in my county in Alabama, we have Police Jurisdiction (PJ) rates for some cities (usually 1/2 of the normal rate). For this particular address, it's showing 7% (state + county only) when my research shows it might actually need to be 8% due to the 1/2 PJ rate of the usual 2% city rate.

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows if the system does factor in PJ rates. Thanks!

Yes, if you use a full/valid address the software will use the address to calculate this tax rate. If you want to test this go a lead in the software and type in the address...(choose the suggested address in the dropdown) and when you create this dummy lead you should see the tax rate entered on the lead calculated as well.
