Custom E-mail Account Spam settings

I registered for three custom email accounts in January. I have noticed that a large number of e-mails from legitimate senders (including my wife) go to spam. Is there a way to change the settings so that I don't have important e-mails go to spam? Or a way to check the "Spam" Folder on my phone... even when I log into webmail, I have to click the folder at the top of the list of e-mails inside the "Spam" folder and turn it green before any emails appear there.

As an example, I get e-mails from payments@eposnow.com. Some days it goes into spam, some days it goes into my inbox.

My problem is not my emails being delivered. My problem is the custom account made here… me receiving emails in that account.

So alerts from IO are going to spam?

No, emails I get from outside email addresses, some go to spam, some go to the inbox, from the same person… it does include some of the emails from my customers.

I raised the threshold on your spam filter, so that fewer emails will be marked as spam. You can also move email from spam to the inbox. This will help the filter learn what isn't spam.
