Same Day Pickup Fee

Hello!
I am looking for guidance to implement a same-day pickup fee because all of my rentals are overnight. I received some feedback from a Facebook group to first add an optional field and then create filters. I see the optional field in leads with a checkbox, but I don't know where to go from there. Any direction would be appreciated.

Create a filter: Field Name (Optional field name) Is Checked.
Settings>promotions/fees>add Promotion. Change the type to fee. Name the fee (displayed on contracts/invoices). Set the requirement filter to the one you just created. Set the "reward" Save and clos.
