Delivery Planner Beta Concerns

I'm going to complain a bit.

Is the plan to keep the legacy delivery planner option open for those who prefer it?

The user interface for the BETA is markedly worse than legacy in my opinion.

I know its a beta but I had heard that the UI is pretty much complete, just the back end is being refined.

The grey/white gradient background is an eyesore.

The scrolling mechanism is a pain (clicking the arrows is annoying and holding shift to scroll isn't much better)

Getting to any useful information about the event now takes two clicks, one being in a special little option spot on the event. Old style was just click it and you have got all details now.

No conflict notification? I had one truck drop a rental that the other truck was picking up 2 hours later and no notification?

Can't fullscreen the map anymore (useful to me when on multiple screens)

Can't load more than 3 days worth of events.

Give me the option to default the events to unlinked.

Summary is I don't like it and I just hope we won't be forced to use it :)

Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. I'd suggest using the old one until we have had time to further make improvements. There is no end-of-life date for the old version at this time.

Thanks this is assuring! We really like the style of the Legacy and I've tried to use the new version but just can't like it over the Legacy. IDK if I'm just the outlier or if others had issues with the UI as well.

Cecil, I'm with you. There are a few perks to the planner but the overall look and funtion of it is extremely lacking. I agree, only being able to view 3 days at a time won't work at all. Didn't even know about the conflicts! That'll be trouble down the road. I addressed my concerns to a few team members at IAAPA. We shall see what happens. Till then - Legacy all the way!
