Gift Card issue old leads now have a balance due

We have 2 leads from the same client from 2023 that now have a balance on them. I think it has something to do with the gift cards.

What actions were taken or intended at the times that these leads were opened on Saturday? Any at all? I see that the required accessories were added but that did not affect the cost. The gift card payments were reversed to negatives at this time also, which created the balance which is double that of the lead.

None. I noticed they were on my balance due report & opened them. That was it.

We will have our developers take a look into what occurred when the lead was open with the gift card payment, and we will keep you updated here with findings.

It happened before I opened it. I noticed it was on my on my balance due report, which is what prompted me to open a lead from 2023. So we didn't touch it prior to that. There was a glitch or something that caused them to revise & then they showed up on my report & then I opened the lead to check into it.

Ok, and this was the balance due that was showing even before the leads were opened?

Thank you, I will clarify this for our developers as they look into this.

Can you describe what changes were made with the gift card and if any changes were made from the gift card page specifically? Looking at our backups it seems like whatever changes were made were the cause of the issue; it would be helpful to know your process to see what may have occurred.

Nothing happened or changed. We stopped issuing or really doing anything with gift cards a while ago.

I just checked my balance due report again this morning & another one from 2023 has shown up. I have not opened the lead so you all can maybe see things in the log better. Lead #19535849.

This is very helpful, thank you. We will have our developer take a look at this example and dig further here.
