It would be a useful feature to have the day of event contact information added to each individual event.

You can add contact information variables to the worker app by going to Settings-->App Templates and either create or edit an organization template.
Variables that can be used are found in Settings-->Template Variables.
*contact_phone* is the customer phone number list.
*ctfullname* is the contact/customer's full name.
