Quote/checkout page on 2nd (new) website goes to contract on 1st (old) website?

Solved

I recently created a new website with different branding and specific products. I just realized that after adding things to the cart, clicking checkout, entering info on the quote form page, and hitting "Continue Purchase", the next page I'm taken to is the contract page, but on the old domain!

How do I get the whole checkout process to happen on the correct domain?

Our developers were able to fix the checkout process on your gellyball website so it is all occurring on the correct domain. Please take a look.

Is this for the cosmicgellyball.com website? It looks like the Quote Page on the IO plugin that was being linked may have been incorrect. I have adjusted this. Can you please try again and let us know if you are still seeing the incorrect domain?

Same result. From the cart on cosmicgellyball.com I check out, then fill out customer info, then click submit, the URL changes first to another page on the cosmicgellyball.com domain but then redirects to cosmicbouncehouse.com.

I had to update the Group Name for the page templates for this site just now. I didn't know if that had the chance to maybe fix things, but it seems like everything is still the same on the user side of things (ie. going to the old site for the contract page).

I did see the group name updated and made an adjustment on the IO Plugin for this change, but I also received the same results with my test quote that I had created. I am having our developers take a look at this.

Do you need to go to Settings>wordpress>the offending site and change the checkout page there?

Just finished talking with Gabrielle about what I thought was an unrelated issue occurring with promo codes, but might be wrapped up in this. Just FYI.

Chad, checkout is set to Website. I checked with Gabrielle about whether that could be having an effect but it sounds like it's mostly a styling/activity tracking decision. Shouldn't change which page templates are being used or in which order.

Our web developers are still looking into this. We will let you know what they advise.

Talon, can you advise the page template name you are using for your quote form/checkout page?

Fantastic, thank you so much!

I have "Quote Request - Wordpress" set as my "Quote Request - Wordpress" page type.

I haven't changed anything from when the website was set up automatically, though I did switch from the IO to Website checkout immediately after creating the new site, before everything got set up.

The issue was due to the giftcard only flow was losing the site specific context. The developer made an adjustment to fix this.

Thank you. I was working with Gabrielle on the promo code issue and hoping that fixing this would fix that. Unfortunately the promo code still only works on the back end. Should I open a separate ticket or topic for that?

No you don't need to open a ticket I'm still testing the coupon, and will let you know when I have an update.
