Call separate page on "submit"

Under Consideration

Is it possible to call a separate page when someone hits the Book Now button on the Quote Confirm page in our Wordpress site? Right now, it just displays a submitted message at the top of the page.

Is this possible? Do you have an example of code to apply on button click?

What do you want to it to show in addition to the message when they submit the quote?

If we could just call a URL when they click the Book Now button then I can create a "submitted successfully" page in Wordpress. Is this doable?

Any update on this one?

I think we need more information on this one to get it approved...can you give us the reasoning behind it and the results you are hoping for? Thanks

Sure, it would be for these reasons:

1) Simplify the "book now" confirmation for mobile devices. Many times when booking on a mobile phone, it's easy to miss the "Order Submitted" message.

2) We're also finding that when a mobile phone books an order and they don't close their browser and it just sits on the quote confirm page, it submits a contract request every time they open their phone browser (as long as it's still on the quote confirm page).

3) It would be nice once the customer is finished and they "book" their order, to send them either to a new section of the website or to some documentation for them to learn how to set up their order (if need be).

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,

Matt

I concur. This would be helpful as we often get calls from customers wanting to know if their reservation went through. A redirect to a "congratulations, your reservation is complete, here is what's next" type page would be very much appreciated :)

Exactly what I'm looking to do. Even redirect them to a page with resourced about the items in their order, etc.
