Request to Remove Deleted Optional Fields from Checkout Page

Hi Team,

I recently created some Optional Fields and deleted them while they were still active. Although they’ve been removed from the backend, they are still appearing on the checkout “Event Details” page.

Could you please remove the following section from that page:

“Where restricted deliveries are not required, note that we may deliver equipment 13 days prior to your event start date and collect equipment 13 days after your event end date. – Read more about delivery.”

When removing Optional fields the best method is to first open each one and uncheck the "show on..." Boxes for the pages you know longer want them to show on. Then save and close. Then open to make sure it's still unchecked. And then bc of an old bug that may not be relevant any more, I change the name to a bunch of gibberish save and close, then delete.


Everyone misses the part to uncheck those boxes.

Yep, I learnt that the hard way — ended up just rolling the template back to fix it haha.

I’ve run into another issue though. I want to add extra delivery options like:

  • Lifting items upstairs or via a lift
  • Requesting an exact delivery time

But when I add them, the layout ends up really cramped — the fields sit too tightly together with no spacing. Also, when I use a Note field to explain our standard delivery window (e.g. "Delivery is anytime between 7AM–6PM unless a specific time is arranged"), it weirdly brings up a text box underneath, which I don’t need and looks a bit off.

Is there a way to:


  • Add some spacing between these custom fields?
  • Use a note or info section without it generating a text input box?
