Confirmation of manual emails being sent

I just sent a manual email with quote. Is there a way to confirm the email actually was sent? I didn't an email saying email was sent.

You can check the log on the lead. You will see if the email was sent there.

Hi Jen I usually see my emails that were sent in the sent box but now im not seeing any recent sent emails.
