Email signature shows my address//rental.software/account/

Hey guys,

I went to view an auto generated email that was sent to my customer that she had to completed her contract. I noticed when I clicked on it, my address was auto generated into the email. When I view the template, I do not see it.

The problem is, that is my home address and I DO NOT need my customers knowing where I live.

Is there some way this can be removed from showing on the auto generated emails? I attached a pic of what I am talking about.

I think this is part of the email anti spam rules. But I am following to learn more....

Hmm.

This will be a major problem for me if it can’t be removed.

I may have to just turn all auto emails off.

Can’t wait for an answer.

You can go to Settings-->Warehouses/Addresses and set up a different mailing address. And yes, this is part of the anti spam law...so an address must be listed on automatic emails: https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business

Hello Erica,

Here is an excerpt from the FTC article linked above:

"Tell recipients where you’re located. Your message must include your valid physical postal address. This can be your current street address, a post office box you’ve registered with the U.S. Postal Service, or a private mailbox you’ve registered with a commercial mail receiving agency established under Postal Service regulations."
