Deposit made email to customer and payment made email to customers

Hi,
If I have both the "deposit made" email and the "payment made" email active does that send the customers 2 emails when they make a deposit? (since a deposit is also a "payment"
I would like the sytem to send 1 email for depsost and then when the customer pays the balance they get the "paid" email.

There is no way to handle that. 2 emails will go out when the deposit is made - one deposit received email and one payment received email. You could set only the payment received email to go out and use the *depositdue* variable to show the amount of deposit is due.
