Filter (phone calls) for clients vs unknown numbers

I have a filter and automation to send text messages to missed calls.

I would like to split it up into missed calls from existing customers vs new/unknown phone numbers.

The filter doesn't seem to let me identify customer vs non-customer. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks,

Try using 2 filters. One for the missed calls (call type) and one to filter if a customer name is set (customer type) and add both to the automation.

Hi Talon,

Were you able to get this set up based on Chad's response?

I have both filters set up.

Missed Calls (Calls): Field Name "Is Missed Call" = Yes

Existing Customers (Cust): Field Name "Contact Cell Phone"= Is set

Unfortunately, the automation won't allow adding filters for both phone calls and customers. If I add one the other won't show up in the list of available filters any longer.

That's dumb!!!

Hi Talon,

You would make 2 separate filters. Once which is call type contains missed call and another filter using customer name is set. Once you build these 2 separate filters you can add both of them to the automation.

That's what I'm saying doesn't work.

I built both filters.

If I add either one, the other doesn't show up as an option from the dropdown.

If neither one is added, both are available to add.

Am I doing something wrong?

We are having our developers take a look at this so I will keep you updated.

Our developers let me know that we do not allow different filter types to be used in automations together. I know a lot of our users just use the "call type contains missed call" filter for this kind of automation.

Cameron, do you have any suggestions since Chad's seems to be excluded for some reason by the software?
