I want to know if the template variable named *balance* is the *total* minus any *deposit* that was paid. I just generated a contract for #760991 with no deposit left and it showed the deposit paid was 0.00 (which is correct), and the *balance* showed the amount as if the 50% required deposit was left. There was not deposit left yet. so how can I fix this to reflect accurately on the contract so customers do not get confused?

*balance* is the Total minus the Deposit. *balancedue* is the Total minus any payments (which is probably what you want for your contract).
