How can I undo the organizations that were automatically created?

A while back, I turned on the setting to automatically create organizations. I don't understand how it helps, and all I see are problems. Many of my schools have been lumped together in organizations under the school district names. How can I undo those? For example, I want Gardiner Middle School to be the organization name on lead 23552401. I don't want it to say "Oregon City School District".

Click on the Organization link from the lead. When on org go to "customers" and remove the contact person for Gardiner Middle School and save
